This picture was taken at a festival/carnival in Colombia. As you can see, the colors are very vibrant and carry the colors of their flag. This dance is performed by women with long skirts/dresses. Typically, they use their hands and dance with the skirt.
In Colombia, this is called the “Cumbia.” Cumbia is the native dance of Colombia.

These dancers are performers of their native dance in their culture. The girls normally wear long skirts that when spun around you can see the colors inside. Most times, the skirts have 3 stripes at the bottom representing the color of their flag. In other cases, the skirts are just very bright and colorful. You’ll see the women dance the most during carnivals/festivals.

This photo was taken last year by me. This is a pigeon park located in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico.
“Its name comes from the hundreds of pigeons that live there and every day hope to be fed by the visitors. It has banks from where you can enjoy a beautiful vista towards the San Juan Bay. Next to the park is the Chapel of the Christ. If you are in the area, do not forget to visit this beautiful place.”

12 grapes for a lucky New Year. Eating one grape for every 12 wishes you can think of is traditional in some countries in Latin America. This tradition started in Spain. But also other traditions include: “Those who want to find love in the New Year are supposed to wear red underwear on New Year’s Eve; those who want money must have a bill of high value when toasting, those who want to travel must go outside while carrying luggage, and so on. Yellow underwear is worn to bring happiness in the New Year.”

This is a photo that I took in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico, located in the Caribbean. The streets in Old San Juan (Viejo San Juan) are primarily made up of one-way cobblestone roads, and parking is practically non-existent.
When I first saw the narrow streets, I wondered how cars would fit through them. But then I realized that most of the narrow streets are one way.
